Jack Taggart (Steven Segal) is an Environmental Protection Agent that is sent to the hills of Kentucky to investigate the dumping of toxic waste. In true Segal fashion, reminiscent of On Deadly Ground, he endears himself to the locals, including a romantic twist with Sarah Kellogg (Marg Helgenberger), while taking on the big business mogul Orin Hanner (Kris Kristofferson). Surrounded by bad guys, he must not only take care of the innocent, but himself as well. This provides great first rate action that you makes you want to stand up and cheer when the bad guys go down. Taggart uses both subtle and knuckle tactics to get evidence needed. This movie provides great action with an environmental message.
