“Titanic” follows Julia Sturges (Barbara Stanwyck) who is a rather unhappily married and uncomfortable British socialite who wants to find a better life away from the stuffy upper crust in the new world, America. Julia takes her two children and boards the Titanic, the greatest sea faring vessel ever constructed. Her enraged husband, Richard (Clifton Webb) follows her on board with a booked passage on board the luxury liner. He’s come to gain custody of their two children and take them away from Julia. Just at the height of their marital spat they both realize just how small they’re issues truly are when the ship hits an iceberg and begins its slow descent into the arctic waters.
